More than $600 million in unclaimed property is sitting with the Kansas State Treasurer’s Office—some of it could be yours.

Thousands of Kansas residents are owed money they haven’t claimed, from forgotten bank accounts to uncashed checks.

Kansas State Treasurer Steven Johnson is urging residents to search for unclaimed funds as part of National Unclaimed Property Day on February 1.

  • Stocks, bonds, and safe deposit box contents
