Deadline Approaching to Claim Up to $2,000 in Apria Healthcare Data Breach Settlement

If you were affected by the Apria Healthcare data breach, time is running out to claim your share of a $6.375 million settlement.

You could get up to $2,000, but you must act before October 22, 2025.

What Happened?

Apria Healthcare, which provides oxygen therapy, sleep apnea treatment, and other services, experienced a data breach in April 2019.

Hackers allegedly accessed sensitive personal information. Apria denies wrongdoing but agreed to settle the case.

Who Can Get Paid?

You may qualify if you received a notice from Apria stating your information was compromised.

How Much Could You Get?

  • Up to $2,000 in reimbursement for out-of-pocket costs caused by the breach

    • Includes fraud losses, identity theft, credit monitoring, and legal fees

  • Pro rata payment (shared amount) based on how many people apply

    • Fewer claims = larger payouts

    • More claims = smaller individual payments

What You Need to Submit

To file your claim, you'll need:

  • Proof of financial loss — such as receipts, invoices, or statements

  • No hand-written or self-made documents alone — these won’t qualify

  • However, self-prepared info can support real documentation

Dates to Remember

  • Deadline to submit a claim: October 22, 2025

  • Final approval hearing: November 4, 2025
